Serbian Economy Minister Nebojša Ćirić said he had had talks in Rome with representatives of four Italian companies on the topic of potential investments in Serbia. He confirmed to agency Tanjug that those companies were engaged in the field of wood processing industry, car industry, railways and software.
He also presented the experience of FIAT and other Italian companies present in the Serbian market to his collocutors. He also had talks with his Italian counterpart Corrado Passero on the fields in which cooperation agreements ought to be signed with a view to improving the already good economic and political relations further. Ćirić visited Rome at Passero’s invitation and he also attended a session of the Serbian-Italian Business Council, at which he presented Serbia as an investment-friendly country to Italian business people and potential investors.
