The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said today that the arrival of the German family company Bizerba in Valjevo is of great importance for that city, which was at a dead end, but also for the entire Kolubara district and surrounding places.
The investment agreement of the German company was signed today in the Presidency.
“Today is a big and important day in the Presidency, because today everything is over and we will soon start building the plant of a fantastic family company, which will be ready in a little over a year,” said Vucic.
He added that this is a large investment, on 10,000 square meters, which will initially employ 300 people, with significantly higher salaries than the average.
According to him, the start of production is expected in the fourth quarter of 2022 at the latest.
“Bizerba is synonymous with high-precision instruments. I am happy for the people of Valjevo, Kolubara district as a whole. This means drastic changes for Lajkovac, Ljig, Mionica, Osecina, Kosjeric. These are fundamental, big changes, these people bring the most precise technology, they will employ highly paid engineers and very well paid workers,” said Vucic.
He noticed that this is a new investment after many years in Valjevo, and it is different from the labor-intensive ones that were until recently.
“Bizerba is something new for Valjevo, which will change everything around Valjevo,” said Vucic.
The President pointed out that Valjevo was at a dead end, before the construction of the Milos Veliki highway, with which it will be connected by a fast road, which, along with gas connections, will fulfill all the conditions for good and successful work of investors.
“It’s a fantastic company, and this is just the beginning. Just as far as their headquarters are from Stuttgart in Germany, they are as far away from Belgrade in Valjevo. I was very worried about Valjevo before this,” said Vucic and added that Valjevo should also get a new water supply system.
He reiterated that these are incredible changes, and that Valjevo will no longer look like what it has been until now.
“All of this would not have happened if there were not many German investments, from almost every German province,” he said.
Vucic said that he could not hide his excitement because of signing today’s contract.
“I am really happy today and I can’t hide it. I had only one request for our German friends, since they make scales for precise measurement. I asked that if they could make a scale for me, which would show everyone the correct, and for me incorrect data. They said that not every scale is worth showing correctly. The only request I had was not granted,” he said jokingly.
He pointed out that he hoped for another big investment in Valjevo.
“I am very happy to have met these wonderful people, I realized that they manage to survive in five generations, and that is through their work. I wish them all luck and they will have every help and support from the state,” he emphasized.
Vucic reminded that when he became the Prime Minister, there were 17,000, and today there are 70,000 people employed in German companies in Serbia.
“It shows how our relations are growing, how Serbia is growing economically and how much we have managed to change in the country. It is important that we continue with the changes, and dual education, which we promised for Valjevo as well,” he said.
The President of Serbia and the leader of the SNS, Aleksandar Vucic, announced today that the first topic at the session of the Main Board of his party on Saturday will be the unification with the SPAS of Aleksandar Sapic, but also that there will be problems.
“First we will talk about unification with SPAS, then about plans and programs, first of all “Serbia 2025″, because that is what we need,” Vucic explained.
He said that, unlike others, the problems in the party will be discussed at the Main Board of the SNS.
“There are no families in which there are no problems, and that is the case with us,” he added.
Asked whether anyone would be called to account, Vucic said that this could be done at every session.
When asked how he commented on the writings of certain media that the SNS was defeated in the elections for local communities in the municipality of Secanj, Vucic explained that 1,188 councilors were elected that day, and that the SNS won 1,100 seats.
“Of the remaining board seats, the Union of Vojvodina Hungarians won 40, and all the others together won 48 seats. If that’s not clear enough to people then I don’t know. But next time we will win everywhere. Elections like this are good, because they show where we win, where we have bad people, and where we have to change things,” he emphasized.
Vucic told the opposition to freely rejoice in the small number of board seats they received, Politika reports.
