Serbia’s foreign trade in 2020 is 3.4 percent lower than in the previous year

The total foreign trade of Serbia in 2020 amounted to 40.01 billion euros, which is 3.4 percent less than the previous year, the Republic Bureau of Statistics announced.
Goods worth 17.05 billion euros were exported, which is a decrease of 2.7 percent compared to 2019, while the value of imports was 22.95 billion, which is 3.8 percent less than the previous year.
The foreign trade deficit last year was 5.90 billion euros, down 6.9 percent from 2019.
The coverage of imports by exports is 74.3 percent and is 0.9 percent higher than a year earlier, it is stated in the announcement, N1 reports.
