Land preparation for the construction of Sinofarm’s vaccine factory in Serbia has begun

The machines have started preparing the land for the construction of a factory for the production of vaccines of the Chinese state company Sinofarm, in the Zemun settlement of Soko Salas, in the part of the highway economic zone, it was published on the portal of the Zemun City Municipality.
The factory in which Sinofarm vaccines will be packaged first, and later produced, is a joint investment of Serbia, China and the United Arab Emirates. A plant for the production of PCR tests is also planned. The planned monthly production is two million doses of vaccine per month.
The factory is being built on a turnkey basis and represents a completely new investment that will provide sufficient quantities of Chinese Sinofarm vaccine not only for Serbia, but also for the region.
The published statement adds that this capital investment is of immeasurable importance for Zemun, since the Municipality is positioned as a new regional center in the field of pharmaceutical industry with a large number of companies engaged in the production and sale of pharmaceutical products and medical equipment, eKapija reports.
