Belgrade is developing a strategy for the development of the city until 2027

The City of Belgrade has announced a tender for the development of the City Development Strategy until 2027.
As stated in the tender documentation, the Belgrade Development Strategy until 2027 is a key development document of the city that should provide an analytical and methodological basis for strategic orientation and determination of development directions, priorities and development goals, as well as instruments for providing finance for its implementation.
The document should cover several key areas, such as economic development, including the development of infrastructure with a focus on energy efficiency, then, the development of transport and utility systems, the environment, social cohesion and the management of urban systems, administration and public property. In the field of economic development, the strategies will include directing less efficient and locationally flexible branches to other areas, activating existing production potentials and completing existing work zones, for more complete use of resources and balanced development in the city.
The tender also reminds that a working group was formed in August to monitor the development of the strategy, eKapija reports.
