The Serbian pavilion at EXPO in Dubai was visited by 40 thousand people in seven days

The Serbian pavilion at the World Exhibition “EXPO 2020 Dubai”, in just seven days from the opening, was visited by more than 40,000 visitors from all over the world.
“Our Pavilion is visited daily by numerous visitors from all over the world, then school delegations from the Emirates, for which a specially designed program inspired by our greatest genius Nikola Tesla, but also numerous business delegations and visitors to creative programs,” the Serbian Representation said today in Dubai.
In the first days after the opening, the Pavilion was reportedly visited by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed together with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and viewed some of the numerous VR exhibitions, followed by a panel “Circular Economy: Present and Future” which discussed global importance and the development of this topic, as well as the concert of the Belgrade Balkan-jazz band “Naked”.
The Serbian Pavilion was opened on October 1, with a symbolic transmission of the spark of creativity and innovation, which began in our area and is continuously transmitted for 7,000 years, from the time of the revolutionary Vinca culture, which inspired Serbia’s appearance at the World Exhibition.
The world exhibition “EXPO 2020 Dubai” will be held from October 1 this year to March 31 next year, under the slogan “Connecting minds, creating the future”.
During the six months of the exhibition under the slogan “Serbia creates ideas – inspired by the past, we shape the future”, through more than 150 different events, Serbia will present various economic sectors, scientific content, technological innovations, creative industries and tourism offer as a modern, innovative country, attractive for the development of trade and tourism, Politika reports.
