Deputy Prime Minister Verica Kalanovic delivered yesterday the Contract on investment incentives to representatives of Italian company Rosati Industria Vetro which will open a factory in Zitoradja and employ 202 people.
The investment’s total value is €5.27 million and under the Programme of support to investments, implemented by the Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA), the Italian company will receive €7,000 per new employee.

Kalanovic explained that this programme is a systemic measure against unemployment which gives concrete, visible and measurable results and precisely this measure brought to Zitoradja the Italian producer of glass elements for household appliances for the world’s leading producers, such as Indesit, Bosch and Electrolux.

She specified that Rosati Industria Vetro plans to buy the property of Serbian company Herkulem, which is in the process of privatisation, to renovate the production hall and adapt it to its needs and start production within the next three years and employ minimum 202 workers.

The Deputy Prime Minister added that one of the reasons why the Italian company decided to invest in Zitoradja is the closeness of the motorway, which confirms the fact that investments in infrastructure are the main prerequisite for economic development.
