Serbia’s GDP to grow two percent in 2013

Economy expert Jurij Bajec has stated that in 2013 the economic recovery in Serbia can be expected, and the realistic GDP growth of 2%, primarily owing to the export of Fiat Serbia automobiles and national agriculture.

Also, he points to the expectation of other investments being activated. The economic policy for the next year, whose general shapes are emerging through the budget planning, is a good foundation for optimism, said Bajec. According to him, the decrease of the fiscal deficit in 2013 is an important step that should enable its further diminishing in the following years as well.
