Belgium’s Delhaize unveiled its plans to invest €30 million this year, most of which in the construction of new retail stores and the renovation of existing ones.
As it was told Beta news agency, plans for Delhaize’s distribution center have been changed, so that the construction is expected to commence in the first quarter of 2013 instead of this year as announced earlier.
“The location has not been chosen yet. We are currently considering several options in Belgrade’s surroundings. Once the site is selected and the construction plan is completed, we will be able to give specific estimates of the amount of this investment”, said people at Delhaize.
Moreover, four new retail stores had been opened in 2012, in Pancevo, Cacak, Sid and Petrovac na Mlavi, while 12 new stores would be opened until the year’s end, announced Delhaize.
