Vucic voiced his pleasure at the fact that another large Israeli investment has been realised in Serbia, recalling that Israel is one of Serbia’s biggest investors.

He underlined that the opening of this shopping centre shows that if Serbia makes progress and improves its investment ambience, it will be able to attract much more investments, not only from Israel but other states as well.

He observed that he expects this to happen in the period ahead, stressing that Big CEE Serbia is important for Novi Sad and Vojvodina and is an additional encouragement to other Israeli investors to place more investments in Serbia’s economic potential, especially in agriculture.

The shopping centre spans 40,000 square metres and will hire around 500 workers. It was officially opened by Novi Sad Mayor Milos Vucevic and Director and owner of Big CEE Serbia Eitan Bar Zeev.
