Overhaul of TENT A5 almost completed, soon grid synchronization of the unit

On October 6, TENT A5 entered the final phase of the block start up after successfully performed disassembly and assembly work.

– Next on program is: drying and stabilization of refractory constructions – concrete with two burners in operation and the furnace temperature of 300 degrees Celsius – said Glišo Klasnic, director of TENT A. – What follows then is preparing parameters to launch turbine generator and its performance at 3.000 rotations per minute, possibly balancing, and a special program for testing protection at a nominal number of rotations and in the end synchronization with the EES. The next step in the work of the block is the start up of reconstructed mills, the optimization of the combustion process with the newly built in LNOx coal burners.
