Third rebuilt generator unit of the hydro power plant “Bajina Basta” was officially put into operation today, so the fourth phase of the revitalization of this HPP started. The start up of the third unit of HPP “Bajina Basta” was attended by Ivica Dacic, the Serbian prime minister, Zorana Mihajlovic, Minister of Energy, Development and Environment, Professor. Dr. Petar Skundric, adviser to Prime Minister for Energy, Dr. Aca Markovic, Chairman of the Board of directors of “Electric Power Industry of Serbia,” Aleksandar Obradovic, Acting General Director of EPS, representatives of the German and Austrian Embassies, representatives of German development bank KfW, and representatives of the contractor company.
