On return from the UAE, Dinkic told TV Pink that the UAE was one of the world’s richest countries and that the offer to UAE investors entailed, among other things, co-ownership in some unsuccessfully privatized state firms and the payment of 100 million euros for 67% of ownership. UAE investors are also interested in purchasing a port on The Danube to become a logistic centre for the export of agricultural products from Serbia, said Dinkić. He also proposed that the Serbian government should form a new national airliner and purchase a new fleet of aircraft, at the same time using a contract with Airbus. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is the owner of Etihad Airways, which company is interested in building a cargo terminal at Belgrade airport, so Etihad would become a co-owner with the Serbian national airliner, said Dinkić.
