Shorter procedures for RES investment projects in Serbia

Minister of Energy, Development and Environmental Protection of Serbia, Zorana Mihajlovic said that her aim is to reduce procedures necessary for construction of plants that use renewable energy. At the International Forum on Renewable Energy in Novi Sad, Mihajlovic said that the Ministry will reduce the number of permits from the current 27 to five or six and provide all necessary documentation to investor for their projects. Mihajlovic said that until now investors have waited two – two and a half years in average to get 27 permits.
