From 2012 to the end of last year, Serbia attracted more than 30 billion euros of foreign direct investments, which is more than the total inflow to the countries of the Western Balkans, said the Minister of Economy of Serbia, Slobodan Cvetkovic.

Total foreign direct investments in Serbia last year amounted to 4,4 billion euros, and this year it is expected to be even greater, he said at the “World in 2024” conference.

He emphasized that the Ministry of Economy is currently implementing multi-year investment projects for the construction of new factories, as well as the expansion of existing production facilities, which, as he said, will lead to an increase in the number of employees.
