MPs of Serbia’s ruling coalition Jadranka Joksimovic, Aleksandra Tomic and Dragomir J. Karic conferred on Saturday with Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Chepurin on promotion of the two countries’ parliamentary cooperation.

Ambassador Chepurin said that Russia is interested in further investments in Serbia, stressing that there are huge possibilities for enlargement of cooperation in the areas of economy, agriculture, tourism, and also culture and arts.

The MPs said that the ambassador’s initiative is highly useful, stressing that any kind of help that comes from brotherly Russia at the moment is more than welcome.
“The steps taken by Ambassador Chepurin are fully in line with the policy pursued by the government and Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic,” the statement by the MPs said.
