Vucic visits Serbian experts working in Angola

First Deputy Prime Minister responsible for defence, security and the fight against corruption and crime and Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vucic visited the military hospital in Luanda and the 101st Armoured Brigade in Funda, where he was informed about the participation of Serbian experts in repair and maintenance of damaged technical equipment and weapons of that unit.

On the second day of his official visit to Angola, Vucic met with 37 workers from Serbia who are currently residing at the base of the unit in Funda, which is located 60 kilometres from Luanda.

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of Angola Candido Pereira dos Santos Van-Dunem visited a historic site dedicated to the heroes of the Battle of Kifangonde.

Vucic and Van-Dunem then attended the laying of the foundation stone for the construction of a military hospital to be built by the Serbian company Planum from Belgrade, in cooperation with Angolan partners,within the next four years.

Vucic tomorrow ends his visit with a meeting with President of the Republic of Angola Jose Eduardo dos Santos, the statement added.
