Serbia’s nature on London billboards

The Tourism Organisation of Serbia (TOS) has launched a campaign in London to raise visibility and interest for Serbia as a holiday destination, the TOS said on Friday.

The campaign will include advertisements on taxi vehicles and billboards in the metro and throughout the city, placing emphasis on active holidays in the countryside, city breaks and Serbia’s cultural and historical heritage.

To run the campaign, the TOS has bought advertising space on 15 cabs, 20 underground billboards and 5 more in the rest of the city.

The campaign will last two months and is planned as an introduction to presenting Serbia’s tourism offer at the world’s largest tourism expo, World Travel Market, in November.

Serbia’s saw an increase of 10 percent in the number of British tourists in the first two quarters of this year compared to the same period in 2013, according to data from the national bureau of statistics.
