Dinar at it sstrongest this year

The dinar went up by 0.1 percent or RSD 0.18 on Wednesday, so the middle exchange rate was EUR 1 = RSD 120.0097, reaching its highest since the start of the year, the National Bank of Serbia has stated.

The dinar was at its lowest compared to the euro this year on January 29, when EUR 1 = RSD 123.5774, and at its previously highest on March 16, when EUR 1 = RSD 120.1681.

The central bank has sold EUR 90 million and bought EUR 170 million on the interbank foreign exchange market since the start of the year in order to prevent excessive volatility of the domestic currency.
