Serbian Minister of Economy Zeljko Sertic and the head of the government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Marko Djuric have met to discuss activities aimed at boosting the economy and improving the business environment in Kosovo-Metohija, in particular in Serb-majority municipalities in the north of the province.

Future activities are related to creating and implementing a strategy of economic development in the territory, attracting investments, removing administrative barriers to an unobstructed flow of goods and services and transactions between Kosovo-Metohija-based enterprises and businesses in central Serbia.

Tuesday’s meeting was also attended by officials of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It was agreed that a task force be established to work on the implementation of agreements, the Ministry of Economy said in a statement.
