AmCham of Serbia and Kosovo together towards the implementation of the economic part of the Washington Agreement

The leaders of the American Chamber of Commerce in Serbia (AmCham Serbia) and Kosovo (AmCham Kosovo) discussed strengthening cooperation in the implementation of the economic parts of the agreement signed in Washington on September 4, with the mediation of the USA, AmCham Serbia announced today.
The leaders of the two chambers, in consultation with their members, will work on identifying and proposing the removal of the remaining trade barriers, but also on proposals for facilitating trade in the “mini-Schengen” region, the statement said.
In addition, both associations will work together to promote investment opportunities for US companies in the Western Balkans through the organization of investment forums, but also to inform the local business community about funding potential from the US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), Exim Bank and other US agencies, Danas reports.
