The online platform of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce “Business Atlas of Serbia and the Diaspora”, intended for connecting companies from Serbia with companies from the Diaspora, will be completed by the end of March, and will work at full capacity by the end of the year,” said the head of the Investment and PPP PKS Djordje Andric.
PKS announced that Andric said at the “Diaspora & Donations” webinar, organized within the NALED project and the German Development Cooperation (GIZ), that the platform will enable easy and fast connection of companies and entrepreneurs from Serbia and the diaspora, as well as the diaspora with foreign companies.
According to Andric’s announcement, “Poslovni atlas” will have sections for mentoring members of PKS, for information, a section of the diaspora for brokerage cooperation, as well as for investment support and crowdfunding projects.
Part of the “Business Atlas” will be the “Matchmaking” section for the active work of PKS on connecting companies from Serbia and the diaspora.
PKS is developing the platform within the project “Link Up! Serbia II” which it is implementing with the International Center for Migration Policy Development and six regional development agencies as implementation partners.
It is stated that the core of the cooperation will be in the Business Hub for the Diaspora, which will help all actors to coordinate activities, and adds that currently the focus of the German-speaking countries are Austria, Switzerland and Germany.
PKS announced that it will receive a grant in February, which will enable the support of promotions and workshops of regional chambers of commerce in 16 chamber regions of Serbia.
The “Link up! Serbia II” project is financed by the Austrian Development Cooperation and has a budget of more than 1.6 million euros, RTV reports.
