The dinar has risen against the euro by 0.1 percent on Wednesday, thus setting the official middle exchange rate at RSD 120.4853 for euro, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) said in a release.

This year, the Serbian currency hit its lowest against the euro on January 29, at RSD 123.57, and was the strongest on March 20, at RSD 119.95 for one euro.

Since the beginning of the year, NBS sold EUR 120 million and purchased EUR 400 million on the inter-bank foreign exchange market in order to prevent excessive daily volatility of the exchange rate.
