There are plenty of agricultural farms for sale in Serbia, and the entire household can be bought at an incredibly low price of only a few thousand euros.
However, farms, former agricultural farms that stretched primarily throughout Vojvodina, are less and less on offer and the price varies from 5,000 euros to an incredible 600,000 euros, for those farms that can be converted or are already entire ethno villages.
If you are wondering what a farm really is, the answer is simple. The farm is a rural household with a traditional type of Pannonian residential house and accompanying buildings for raising animals, verandas for storing corn and the like.
In the beginning, these were households where wealthier owners came only in the summer when working in the fields, while they also had a central house in the city. Since the Middle Ages, they have been spread along the Pannonian plain, and there are in Slovakia, Romania, Austria and Serbia, primarily in the Vojvodina part, although there are also some in other parts of the country. Here’s how their prices move.
To the farm for 5,000 euros
Farms that are not located in attractive locations are not the target of celebrities or only the wealthy, and they can be obtained at a relatively low price. So, the closer they are to Novi Sad, the price increases, and the farther they are, the lower the price. It is possible to find, if you are persistently looking for, an entire household at a price even lower than 5,000 euros. And all over Serbia, not only in Vojvodina.
For ten to 15 thousand euros, farms can already be selected. However, there is a bigger choice in Serbia than in Vojvodina, although in Vojvodina you can find a decent farm for this money.
For example, a farm is currently on offer, ie a family property that also has land, a vineyard, a forest, at a price of 14,900 euros. The house has 40 square meters, and an asphalt road leads to the house. It is located in the vicinity of Negotino, in the village of Jabukovac, and it is registered, ie the ownership papers are “clean”.
In the vicinity of Novi Sad, in the popular Chennai, there is a slightly more expensive farm on offer, in which you should invest a little money, since it is a building for demolition. For 23,800 euros, the owner offers a good plot near the highway Novi Sad-Subotica-Cenej, of 5,830 square meters. As he stated, the plot is under fruit and arable land, and it is close to another very well-kept farm.
For the wealthy, the farm goes up to 600,000 euros
In the same Chennai, a farm is for sale at a price of an incredible 250,000 euros. The owner announced a renovated house of 154 square meters and auxiliary facilities of 160 square meters, and as he states, everything is registered on a fenced plot of 22,842 square meters. Two years ago, 800 quinces were planted there, and there are also 150 pears, 30 cherries, 20 walnut trees of the Chandler variety, 20 apple trees… This farm also has a park and 40 acacia trees. There is also a professional greenhouse of 200 square meters, then a pond with several hundred carp.
This is not the most expensive farm on offer. Those more affluent, who can consider such a purchase, can also consider a barn in Loka near Titel, at a price of 465,000 euros. It is located right next to the Danube, and has a living space of four rooms, a dairy with permits and all the necessary standards for work, a well, a large pond and a forest.
However, the most expensive at this moment is the farm in the vicinity of Mladenovac, which the owner also calls an ethno village. Therefore, a furnished household is for sale in a weekend settlement on a plot of 73 acres with 10 buildings. It has a tennis court, various ornamental greenery, a rose garden and an orchard on an area of 48 acres. As stated, experts from the Institute from Cacak take care of the fruit plantation. This little paradise is advertised at a price of 600,000 euros, Srbija Danas reports.
