Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic stated yesterday that the European Investment Bank (EIB) will approve a credit line of €250 million to Serbia, as a way to stimulate its export.

During a break at the “Competitiveness is the Name of the Game” conference, Djelic told the press that Apex 4 is a very favourable credit line which will enable Serbian businesspeople to draw funds without additional mortgage.

He specified that €80 million from this credit line will go to the Serbian car industry.

The Apex Credit Line has already secured €250 million for ensuring liquidity of the Serbian economy, Djelic recalled, adding that a large number of companies were thus enabled to refinance their loans.
