Firtel: The Serbian government sends a positive signal to foreign investors

In the first one hundred days of its work, the Serbian government has sent a very significant and positive signal to foreign investors, showing that only through dialogue and an active exchange of opinions can a better and more predictable business setting be created, said the executive director of the Foreign Investors’ Council, Ana Firtel.

She told agency Tanjug that the messages of Serbian PM Ivica Dačić that the government will focus on economic recovery, continuation of EU integrations and system reforms of high significance for foreign investors and the business community. Our first expectations – the commencement of talks with the government – have been fulfilled, said Firtel. The Council has also started dialogue with the ministries of finance, economy, energy and trade and also with the National Bank of Serbia.
