Gazprom has significantly increased gas supplies to Serbia

During the first eight months of this year, Gazprom increased natural gas production by 17.9 percent on an annual level, and exports by 19.4 percent, while gas deliveries to Serbia increased by 123.9 percent, according to a statement from the Russian gas holding.

Gas production increased by 51.2 billion cubic meters to 337.2 billion cubic meters in the period January-August, Gazprom said in a statement.

Gas exports to countries outside the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) rose 19.4 percent, or 21.3 billion cubic meters, to 131.3 billion cubic meters.

– Gazprom continues with gas deliveries at a level close to the historical record of 133.3 billion cubic meters recorded in the same period in 2018. Gas deliveries, as specified, increased during the eight months of 2021 to Turkey (173.6%), Serbia (123.9%), Germany (39.3%), Italy (15%), Romania (344%), Poland (12%), Finland (22.7%), Bulgaria (50.9%) and Greece (15.8%).

Gazprom’s deliveries on the domestic market increased by 10.9 percent, or 15.6 billion cubic meters, Novosti reports.
