There are big chances for the arrival of new Russian investors in Serbia, the head of the Trade Representative Office of the Russian Federation in Belgrade, Andrei Hripunov, told agency Tanjug.
He said Serbia was a significant Russian partner in the region and that there were big prospects for the further expansion of trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries, but that energy remained the primary sector of bilateral cooperation. He said Russia was ready to discuss new propositions for cooperation, also at an investment conference in Moscow towards the end of September, to be organized by the two countries’ respective chambers of commerce and industry.
