After consultation “Tax Administration Reform” in the Vojvodina Chamber of Commerce, Dinkic added that the agricultural budget was increased from 2.5% to 3.7% of the national budget, adding that the goal by 2014 is for the agricultural budget to reach 5% of the national budget.

He said that in the coming years the farmers should be granted between 40% to 50% of the investment for the purchase of new equipment and refrigerators for the construction of dryers.

According to him, the subsidies to farmers for this year have been provided in full, while the Budget Bill for 2013 has allocated an increase in farm subsidies by more than RSD 6 billion.

Dinkic confirmed that the Russian company “Uralvagonzavod” requested additional time to complete the offer for Smederevo iron works, and mentioned that the deadline for submission of bids for a strategic partner for the Smederevo steel factory is extended by two months.
