Dacic said that €17 million was invested in the new line of paint plant, adding that these investments are the best help to the Serbian government policy in the economic recovery of the country.

He noted that the aluminum rolling mill is an example of how privatisation can be done in the interest of the state, employees and owners – in this case, the Slovene company Impol.

The Prime Minister also announced that in the next ten days he will visit Slovenia to discuss measures for the creation of a common economic space.

Dacic, responding to reporters’ questions, said that Serbia is far from the abolition of visa liberalisation, adding that it is not compatible with the policy of the government of Serbia and of the level of Serbia’s relations with the EU.

If Serbia pursues a constructive policy, by protecting its national and state interests and by demonstrating willingness to participate in solving the problem of asylum seekers, there will no suspension of visa liberalisation, said the Prime Minister.
