The mayor of this town, Goran Stojkovic, has told the Beta news agency that representatives of the Italian firm, which produces heat-resistant glass, want to start production in the facility in Zitoradja as soon as possible. The factory will employ 200 workers. Nenad Stojkov, one of the managers of RIV, has said that the company has selected Zitoradja because of its vicinity to the X Corridor. Other positive factors that have led to the decision include the fact that a facility is already present on this location, which can be restructured and activated in a short matter of time. Zitoradja also has a high number of unemployed people, who can work in the new factory. The first fifty workers, Stojkov specified, will go to Italy for a training course.
