In Serbia, 13,573 financial leasing contracts were registered in 2020, on the basis of which items worth more than 367 million euros were procured, the Business Registers Agency (APR) announced today.
Since the establishment of the Financial Leasing Register in 2005, 55,870 registered financial leasing contracts, with a total value of 1.7 billion euros, have been active by the end of this year.
During January this year, 611 financial leasing contracts were registered.
Through financial leasing, passenger vehicles were procured in the largest percentage, followed by trucks and other types of vehicles.
According to APR, in 2020, the recipients of financial leasing were mostly legal entities, while entrepreneurs made up only one tenth of them.
Since the establishment of that register, real estate has been the subject of financing in 51 registered contracts, with a total value of 24,624,589.49 euros, Danas reports.
