Japan’s donation to companies in Sokobanja and Vlasotince

The Japanese government will donate EUR 124,770 to the public utilities company Napredak in Sokobanja and the water supply company in Vlasotince to enhance environment friendly services, the Embassy of Japan in Belgrade announced Thursday.

The Japanese government will donate EUR 124,770 to the public utilities company Napredak in Sokobanja and the water supply company in Vlasotince to enhance environment friendly services, the Embassy of Japan in Belgrade announced Thursday.

This brings the total of Japanese donations for projects concerning the basic needs of the population since 1999 to EUR 7.2 million, and the total of Japanese donations to Serbia in the same period to EUR 200 million.

A press conference on the donation will be attended Friday by State Secretary in the Serbian Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning Vladimir Jovanovic, Japanese Ambassador Toshio Tsunozaki and Sokobanja and Vlasotince officials.
