Russian Ambassador in Belgrade Alexandar Konuzin said in talks with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic that Russia was ready to realize a loan worth 800 million dollars, intended for development projects in Serbia.
Konuzin said he believed Russia was willing to help Serbia’s development and thereby to improve the already good bilateral relations. Nikolic and Konuzin also discussed the segments of the forthcoming talks of the Serbian president and Russian President Vladimir Putin, due in Sochi on September 11. Nikolic thanked Russia for its engagement in battle against fire that has broken out all over Serbia these days and the quick reaction of the Russian authorities to Serbia’s request for another fire-extinguishing airplane.
