More Swiss investments in Serbia

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic met today with President of the Swiss Confederation Doris Leuthard, with whom he spoke about bilateral relations, increase of Swiss investment and the support of Switzerland to the system of dual education.

Prime Minister Vucic underlined that Serbia attaches great importance to the improvement of cooperation between the two countries in all areas, particularly in the fields of the economy and education.

He noted that Swiss investment in Serbia had doubled over the past two years and amounts to approximately €1 billion.

There are 200 Swiss companies doing business in Serbia, which employ 9,000 people and that is a good indicator of the attractiveness of our market, Prime Minister Vucic stated and invited President Leuthard to visit Serbia.

The two officials exchanged opinions on the migrant crisis and regional stability.
