New round of sale of state-owned vehicles on April 9

The Property Directorate of the Republic of Serbia will organize the second round of sale of state-owned passenger vehicles, which the government decided to put up for auction with an eye to austerity measures.

The data and photos are available on www.uzzpro.gov.rs and the vehicles will be displayed on the parking lot of the Palace of Serbia on April 4 and 5.

All natural and legal persons have the right to partake in the public bidding once they pay a deposit of RSD 20,000 per vehicle.

In the first public bidding on March 26, 37 vehicles were sold for around RSD 14.5 million.

A total of 510 vehicles were at the auction, and the Serbian government decided to organiye the sale at a session mid-March. The most expensive car was an Audi sold for around two million dinars.

The buyers are due to pay the entire sum in dinars, and the money is directly pumped into the budget.
