NIS tops turnover list on Belgrade bourse, share indices rise

Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] generated the highest turnover and led the blue-chip gainers’ list on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Wednesday, as stock indices ended up, bourse data showed.
A total of 2,086 NIS shares changed hands in turnover of 1.2 million dinars. NIS closed up 2.67% at 577 dinars.
The BELEX15 index, which tracks the most liquid shares on the Belgrade Stock Exchange, ended the session up 0.75% at 692.93 points.
The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, closed up 0.35% at 1,503.29.
The total turnover on the bourse amounted to 7.85 million dinars ($78,400/66,700 euro) on Wednesday, up from 4.5 million dinars on Tuesday, as 87 transactions were carried out.
Trading on the multilateral trading facility (MTP) of the stock exchange generated a turnover of 4.0 million dinars.
