In the field of energy, the construction and commissioning of the Pancevo Thermal Power Plant (TPP) will be finalized in 2020 and implemented by NIS in cooperation with Gasprom Energoholding. This project is extremely important for NIS because the new power plant will produce heat and electricity primarily for the needs of the Pancevo Oil Refinery, while part of the generated electricity will be directed to the Serbian energy system. In the coming year, NIS will continue its digitalization process at all levels of the company and invest in a portfolio of digital projects, which is expected to have long-term effects on the EBITDA indicator.

Also, NIS’s focus will be on further improvements in the area of occupational safety and environmental protection to further bring the company closer to its goal in this area – work processes without injuries and negative environmental impacts.
