OMV opens its 61st filling station on the Belgrade highway bypass

OMV recently opened its 61st filling station in Serbia. The new filling station is located on the highway bypass around Belgrade near Surcin, in the direction of the Ibar highway.

The filling station is open 24 hours a day and offers the full range of products available on other OMV filling stations in Serbia, including lubricants, LPG and AdBlue. The filling station also boasts a VIVA shop and restaurant where OMV customers can break their journeys to enjoy a moment of indulgence.

The new OMV Obilaznica filling station is another Greenfield investment of OMV in Serbia. Innovation, environmental responsibility, consistent focus on quality, and strong customer loyalty give OMV an additional impetus for the continued expansion of its filling stations network in Serbia.

At the opening of the new filling station, OMV Serbia General Manager Karoly Lajko commented: “The opening of this filling station marks the continuation of our investments in Serbia. Our new filling station is a multifunctional service center for customers and their vehicles. Besides fuel, lubricants, foods and beverages, the filling station boasts a children playground, and parking spots for cars and trucks. “

At the OMV Obilaznica filling station AdBlue-compatible trucks and buses can fill their additional tanks with AdBlue, save costs as well as fuel and reduce up to 60% in emissions.

OMV is the first filling station network in Serbia with a HACCP certificate, which guarantees the quality and safety of food purchased in VIVA restaurants. The offer includes around 1500 products that range from delicious coffee in the best tradition of Viennese cafes to the most delicious bakery products. VIVA offers OMV customers a world of indulgence with a wide range of high quality foods and beverage at any time of the day or night, seven days a week.

OMV entered the local market in 2001 and is headquartered in Belgrade. The core business of OMV Srbija d.o.o. includes oil and oil derivatives trade through 61 filling stations throughout Serbia with a 15% market share. OMV Srbija directly employs 45 people. More than 1,300 people are indirectly employed through its filling station network.

Besides providing top quality fuel and the complete range of OMV oils and lubricants to customers, all OMV stations are multifunctional service centres with state-of-the-art car wash facilities, children’s playgrounds and coffee shops/restaurants. Currently 56 VIVA shops offer their customers a clearly structured range of goods for the daily need including a wide range of fresh products, snacks and refreshments.
