Serbia’s Orion Telekom plans to invest tens of millions of euros in the local telecommunications market during 2013, according to director Slobodan Dinovic. In an interview with Serbian news agency Tanjug, he said he expects to see consolidation on the Serbian market, as operators struggle to maintain business levels and regulation is still needed to tackle the dominant operator’s relationship with other providers. Dinovic added that Orion Telekom has so far invested EUR 35 million, which is in line with the company’s five-year business plan. He also said that the operator is finalising an acquisition in Montenegro.
