Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic met on Tuesday with CEO of SR Technics Group Jeremy Remacha.

SR Technics is an independent provider of maintenance repairs and overhauls to commercial aircraft operators, capable of maintaining most Airbus and Boeing aircraft, with a 3,300-strong workforce, servicing around 1,050 planes.

The group started moving its administration in early 2015, when it officially launched its shared services center in the Serbian capital.

Vucic observed that “Serbia needs more companies that would hire young and competent people.”

The prime minister called on foreign investors to move their business to Serbia, as they would “earn more and get highly-skilled workers.”

“The group currently hires 120 people at its administration center in Serbia. It will have a 220-strong workforce by the end of the year, and recruit another 50 in 2017. Around 80 percent of employees are under 40, with salaries around EUR 1,000,” he noted.

The prime minister voiced hope that the company would expand its business in Serbia.
