Quivogne invests in Vojvodina/Serbia

French company Quivogne, which is engaged in production of a wide range of agricultural equipment, bought part of the property of AD „FADIP“, factory of car and tractor parts and equipment in bankruptcy. Facility of 5,500 square meters in small town Bečej in Vojvodina, was bought for 29 million RSD.

Production in Vojvodina, with total investment amount from EUR 800,000 to 1,000,000, will be an export-oriented. Company will employ 60 workers in Bečej, including 50 in the direct production.

Quivogne is a private family business established 66 years ago, with 350 employees in 4 factories in France and with annual turnover of about EUR 50 million. Apart from France, the company has commercial offices in Austria, Ukraine, Russia and North America.

According to information of Vojvodina Investment Promotion – VIP, which supported the company to start its business in Vojvodina, Quivogne is the fifteenth French company that operates in this region. France is the country with most investments in Vojvodina by the level of investment, right after Germany. French  companies so far have invested about EUR 742 million and have employed more than 3, 500 workers in this north province of Serbia.

Among French companies already operating successfully in Vojvodina are Lafarge in Beocin, Tarkett in Backa Palanka, Le Belier in Kikinda, Bongrain in Zrenjanin and Kikinda, Soufflet Group in Backa Palanka, Credit Agricole in Novi Sad, Lactalis in Sombor, Saint Gobain in Apatin, Lohr in Backa Topola, Mecaplast in Zrenjanin and others.
