This week saw a 9.28% decline in trading volume compared to the previous week, with total transactions amounting to 85.99 million dinars, according to the latest report from the exchange. After two weeks where wheat was the dominant trade, corn emerged as the most traded commodity this week, making up 67% of the total market turnover.

Price trends show a decrease in wheat prices and an increase in soybean prices. Trading involved 1,850 tons of corn, which is 1,650 tons more than the previous week.

Contracts for this year’s corn were settled at prices ranging from 18.00 to 18.50 dinars per kilogram, excluding VAT, depending on aflatoxin levels and delivery terms. On the wheat market, supply exceeded demand, which remained weak even at reduced price levels.
