DuÅ¡an Živković, the General Director of the Electric Power Company of Serbia (EPS), reassures citizens in an interview with “Politika” that there is no cause for concern regarding electricity supply. He emphasized that EPS is capable of meeting electricity demand with adequate reserves and a reliable distribution system.

EPS currently generates eighty percent of its electricity from its own production facilities, Živković highlighted. He further underscored the stability in coal production and electricity generation within EPS power plants, noting that operations are proceeding according to established business plans. Additionally, Živković mentioned that there are 1.6 million tons of coal stocked in the sections, and the hydrological conditions are consistent with typical levels for summer months.
