The planned assistance measures that follow are sectoral and targeted – said Vucic.
Hotels in small towns will soon receive help, said today the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic.
– We did not take cities like Paracin, Golubac and similar, that do not have the status of a city, but that will be corrected – said Vucic, talking about the new measure of assistance to city hoteliers.
He said that he assumed that the losses in hotels in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Nis were probably the biggest.
– We did it in a sectoral and targeted manner, and we previously helped the entire population – said the President, recalling all previous assistance measures brought by the Government of Serbia.
– I think that we have helped the survival of the economy in proportion to our size and strength. We helped for three months, for each employee. We could have done that because we behaved smartly, because we reduced the public debt – said Vucic.
He added that, by the nature of things, Serbia will have problems, less money, lack of income, something like that will happen all over the world.
– Our plan is to raise the economy, to help everyone, especially hotels, restaurants… We have built a stable system of finance, our dinar is solid and stable, only that no one will ever admit it. We have a strong budget, and what worries me is the situation in some local governments, such as the situation in Novi Sad, so you have a problem in Kragujevac, Belgrade will have to make a smaller budget deficit – said Vucic, Srbija Danas reports.
