As part of the conference “One region, one market – a step forward towards the common market of the European Union”, a working dinner was organized tonight in Novi Sad, which was also attended by the Minister of Finance, Sinisa Mali.
On his “Instagram” account, Mali, along with pictures from this event, said:
“The Republic of Serbia is sincerely committed to the promotion of regional cooperation, which contributes to the process of reconciliation and encourages the overall development of the region and the strengthening of our economies, and thus a better life for all citizens.”
“The purpose of the ‘Open Balkans’ initiative is to deepen the regional market in the Western Balkans, as well as to implement numerous measures that will bring fast, concrete and clear results, which will be visible to citizens and the economy. This will lead to greater flow of goods and people and raise the competitiveness of companies, all of which will contribute to faster and sustainable development of our economies,” Mali added.
The working dinner was opened by the Head of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation Office for Serbia and Montenegro Norbert Beckman Dirkes, and the Director of the European Affairs Fund of AP Vojvodina Aleksandar Simurdic addressed the guests from the business community by saying that young leaders In the Balkans, strong entrepreneurs from the region can help the most.
In addition to a large number of business people, the gala dinner was also attended by the Minister of Economic Development of Montenegro, Jakov Milatovic, and the Deputy Secretary General of the Council for Regional Cooperation of the Government of Serbia, Tanja Miscevic, Kurir reports.
