US Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo published a congratulatory message on Twitter today on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the establishment of US-Serbian diplomatic relations, and said that Serbia is the economic engine of the Western Balkans.
“We look forward to continuing and expanding our bilateral cooperation, especially in information and communication technologies, infrastructure, health and clean energy,” the US Secretary of Commerce wrote.
Along with this tweet, Raimondo posted a picture of the American and Serbian flags with the caption: “We are celebrating 140 years of American-Serbian relations,” Kurir reports.
