The Serbia-Russia Business Council will boost activities at the end of 2011 and the beginning of 2012, in order to carry out joint trade projects, especially in the field of agriculture, Co-President of the council Vadim Vorobyov stated on Monday.
He announced that the next meeting of the council will be held in Belgrade in December, whereas a visit of the Serbian trade delegation to Russia is scheduled for March 2012.
The meeting between Serbian and Russian trade delegations will be held in Perm, Russia, and in mid-2012 another meeting will be organized in Sochi, a city in Krasnodar area, which will host the 2014 Winter Olympic Games, Vorobyov, who is also Vise President of the Lukoil company, said.
The meeting in Sochi, in mid-2012, will also include discussion on the Olympic Games and the agrarian sector, he told press, and added that the Serbian businessmen are interested in stronger agricultural cooperation with the Krasnodar area and other agrarian regions in Russia.
