Serbia does not expect any problems in gas supply before and during the upcoming winter season, the director of Srbijagas, Dusan Bajatovic said.
“What is even more important, the price of gas for households will not change until the end of the heating season, while it will be commercial for large consumers,” Bajatovic added.
He announced that the first quantities of gas for Hungary will start arriving through the territory of Serbia, ie through the “Turkish Stream” gas pipeline, while the capacities in the underground storage “Banatski dvor” have sufficient quantities of this energy source.
He announced that Srbijagas is about to sign a new long-term contract with Russian Gazprom, but that contract is expected to be “price flexible” due to uneven gas consumption during the year, 021 reports.
