The NGO ALHem – Safer Chemicals Alternatives – has translated the GHS column model into Serbian. This simplified method can be used to make a preliminary comparison between the risks of different substances and products, and can lead to a quick judgment on the possibility of their substitution. The Serbian substitutes project is financed by the Norwegian embassy in Belgrade.
